Updates - From November 2007 To December 2007

Haven't been update here for 2 months. I was busy and had no time to update here. Haiz.... Here are the updates for the 2 months November 2007 To December 2007.

November 2007

My sister and I was busy looking for a flat to stay cos the owner of the previous flat sold the flat. It was stress to look for a flat cos the price of the flats nowadays are expensive and we had to budget out. I looked through the internet and called up everyday to the property agents of every property company. Luckily, my dad's property agent and my friends also helped me to keep a lookout for a flat to stay. My sister also looked through the newspapers under property column and called up during her off days. We viewed one place at Toa Payoh that was owned by the clinic and right above the clinic. That place was so unsuitble to stay as had to share a toilet with doctor and patients. I found the price was still the same expensive. So we had to continue to look for another place that was suitable.

December 2007

This was the month that we had found a flat to stay (currently staying). It was found by my dad's property agent and the price was the same as the previous flat. The location is quite convenient to travel to town like Orchard Road. We can only moved in starting on 16/12/2007 as we can still stayed in the previous flat. The next thing we had to do was to pack up all the stuffs into cartons and containers plus looking for movers. During these period, I didn't slept for 2 nights cos busy packing up all the stuffs. We threw a lot of stuffs away including fridge, 2 sofas and 1 cupboard. On 19/12/2007, the mover came to moved our stuffs to the new flat. I only moved on the 22/12/2007 as the previous flat still can stayed for 3/4 days. I took some photos of the previous flat for memories on the last day.

BDT Last Lesson Today....

Today I meet Jennifer at 10.30am at Marine Parade Central Macdonald for breakfast cos i'm her manicure & pedicure model for her last lesson. Then we went to see VCDs at BlueMax Shop and walked around.

After that, we went for the lesson for manicure and pedicure which i am her model. Jennifer helped me do my fingernails and polished my fingernails. Then she helped me do my toenails and polished my toenails. After the manicure and pedicure lesson, we went to nearby to eat kuehs. The kuehs were delicious.

Then we went to took Bus 32 to Bugis. We walked around Bugis Junction and bought ice-cream to eat and headed to Bugis Street. Jennifer bought a watch and her manicure stuffs.

After Bugis Street, we took MRT to City Hall to have our dinner. We went to Capitol Building to eat chicken rice. Then we headed to Centre for my BDT Last Lesson. The BDT Last Lesson went smoothly with everyone spoken on the stage. For me, I spoke about I went for Artistry Class.

After BDT had finished, I went to Raffles Hotel to take Bus 14 home.

Artistry Class Again....

Today I woke up at 10am and I rested for half an hour then prepare myself to go to Funan Food Court to meet Frances and Anthony for lunch at 12.30pm. After lunch, we went to have our Artistry Class. The Lesson for today are eyebrow trimming and make-up.

We were told to clean our face using Toner and moisturies our face using Moisturizer before eyebrow trimming and putting on make-up. We had our eyebrow trimming first then followed by the make-up.

Here are the Step-By-Step Make-Up:

1) Foundation
2) Concealer
3) Eyebrow Shaping
4) Eye Shadow
5) Mascara
6) Eye Liner
7) Brusher
8) Lipstick

I learnt about proper wats of eyebrow trimming and make-up.

After Artistry Class, I went to Orchard Paragon to look for my sister for her break time. She said the make-up on my face was nice. After her break, I took a bus to go home.

Artistry Class....

It's Friday again.... Saturday and Sunday coming soon and time flies very fast. Soon it will be the end of the month.

Today I went for Artistry Class. In case there are people who don't know wat Artistry is, Artistry is a skin care product. It was interesting and enjoyable course to learn. I learnt about proper facial wash, applying masque and applying eye cream.

We had our make-up removed using Eye & Lip Remover and Gentle Action Makeup Remover. Then we went for skin analysis to check on our skin. After that, we used Polishing Scrub to scrub our face. Then we applied masque on our face and leave it to dry. After drying,we rinse with water to clean off the masque. Then we applied eye cream around the eye area. And tat's the end of the lesson for today.

This was the first time I learnt a facial skills like a beauty salon outside. I need to practice often to master the skills so tat I can do facial on my own and save money for the beauty salon. HeHe....

After the Artistry Class, home sweet home. Then I headed to Raffles Hotel to take Bus 14 home. While walking near the bus-stop, bus 14 came. It was a single deck bus and the entrance was almost crowded. When the bus reached Suntec bus-stop, my heart almost pop out like asking me to get off the bus to wait for a double deck one. In the end, I didn't got off cos Bus 14 have to wait quite long as it was quite late already. So I had to tahan the crowd in the bus cos I knew there was a bus-stop which many people will got down. But luckily the bus-stop tat I mentioned, many people got down and the bus got lots of space. But I was still standing on the bus. While standing on the bus, funny thing happened. There was this bus-stop (don't know which) a girl got on the bus and stand beside me. After about 2 bus-stops, 2 guys from the back of the bus going to alight. Then I walked straight in for the seat. This was where I got a shocked of my life. She was sitting beside me. So funny. First she stand beside me. Then sat beside me. Sounded so eerie. But in the end, she got off the bus first and will never see her already.

What A Weather Today....

Today I went out with Charles Da Ge to Sim Lim Square as he wants to buy LCD for a better vision and I want to buy keyboard for my comfy. We walked around Sim Lim Square first before settle down with our stuffs.

After Sim Lim Square, I went to Charles Da Ge's house to see his dog. His dog is so cute and like to play with her bear. This was the first time I seen a dog playing a bear. :)

We went to Toa Payoh Centre to have dinner as Charles Da Ge had an appointment there. We ate MacDonald. After MacDonald, it rained heavily and I had to wait for the rain to stop before shop and walk around Toa Payoh Centre. Wat a weather today.

Luckily the rain rained for half an hour. Then I walked around Courts first before shop and walk around Toa Payoh Centre. When I passed by a salon named De Element, I saw Yang Li Bing and Margeret Lee talking to each other. The salon was opened by Yang Li Bing.

I went to the Mos Burger to have a drink and a minestrone soup as I need to sit down to rest my legs. The place was so noisy and can't relax at all. After finished my light stuffs, I went off cos can't stand the noise people made at the Mos Burger.

I went to the bus interchange to take Bus 31 to go home. It was a single deck bus and I took out my lousy MP3 to listen to music as to relax myself.

Today Quick Updates....

This morning I went to church with Andrew for a service. The service was great and exactly like my church Lighthouse Evangelism. Talking about Lighthouse Evangelism, long time didn't go for service there and I miss Speedlight there. After the service, I went for lunch with Andrew and his friends at Simei Eastpoint.

During evening time, I went for BDT class. I was a bit nervous when doing sharing on the stage so i shared about the products tat I used. Haiz....

Long Time No Updates....

It's been a long time since I last update my blog here since April 2007 as I went to Internet Cafe to use the internet and computer services so it was not convenient for me to update my blog here quite often. I only went there (internet cafe) when i'm free. But now I can save quite a lot of money from going to the internet cafe cos i have my own (not the internet cafe itself). I don't have such a capital to own a internet cafe. Hehe.... Well, I had bought a laptop 3 months ago as it will be convenient for me to use it at home, anytime and anywhere around the clock. :)

For the past 3 months, one of my colleagues invited me to an internet website called Tagged. From Tagged, I knew many friends from there. Then later on one of them invited me to another website called Who Lives Near You. From Who Lives Near You, I knew some more friends from there. To my surprise, I found my primary school friend at there (Who Lives Near You). Wat a coincidence. Much later on, I found another website called WorksNeighbours.com. From WorksNeighbours.com, I knew some more friends too. To my surprise again, I found one of my school friend. This time not primary school friend. This was my secondary schoolmate whom I knew not too long ago. Wat a coincidence again. Haiz....

For now, I have many internet websites which I had saved to Favorites so tat I can easy click on them if I need them.

YongMei Calls Me Today.....

Today, YongMei called me for a phone recording for 男生女生配 cos this week August not available for live programme. She called me at 10:30 am in the morning. Luckly, I had woke up early. I got to hear August's Voice on the phone and get to talk to YongMei. It was half an hour talk. I was no. 2 out of 3 contestants. Hopefully, I will get selected by August.

After the talk, I went to lay down on my bed and fell asleep. I woke up at evening time and it was incredible cos I slept so long. Maybe I was very tired for the whole week of interviews.

I went downstair to buy take-away food and watched TV at home. This was my day.

Got A Job Today.....

Today, I went to a job interview at Far East Shopping Centre. The company I went for interviewed is Evergreen Green Group. I had applied for a job there. The position is HR / Administrative Assistant. The company is small. They had 5 staffs there and a vacant desk. No wonder they want to employ one more staff.

After the job interview, I went to eat Burger King at Liat Towers. I ate one set of mushrooms swiss burger with fries and drinks. After eating, I called up all the missed calls from my phone. Some of them asked me to go for an interview on monday. But I had to change the appointment cos my schedule for monday is fully booked. One company was so nice. They asked me to go for an interview on Wednesday. One of the call was from a job agency and they asked a lot of questions then never asked me to go down for an interview. They said they will helped me keep a lookout for jobs. But I don't think they will keep a lookout for jobs. And it will be very long then reply. I was halfway through the missed calls when a familiar number called me. I quickly picked the phone and answered. It was from a company that I had interviewed for a job as a Sales / Administrative Officer post. The staff of the company asked me whether can I start work on monday and I said yes. I was so happy cos I was SELECTED by the company.

At last, I don't have to go for all the job interviews and I think it's ok not to go cos I had already found a job.

The company that I was selected by is at Loyang Drive. The Company is Sin Hong Huat Aluminium Pte Ltd and their products are Aluminiums. They had two offices. One at Loyang Drive and the other one is at Defu Lane 7. It was quite near to my ex-company location. So coincedence.

After eating, I went to window shop at Orchard for a while. Then I went to Internet cafe at City Hall to check my emails. When I opened my email inbox, I saw an unfamiliar mail. I opened it and to my surprised, it was YongMei from Love972 who sent me a mail. She asked me whether I'm free tomorrow for a phone recording for 男生女生配 cos she can't get through my phone. Then suddenly I remembered that I had sent an email to her for the get to know August from 男生女生配. I quicky replyed her through email.

After that, I went home happily cos two good news had happened today.

Job Interview Again.......

Today, I wanted to go for 2 jobs interviews and instead I went for only one. Cos the 1st interview was so long that I had no time to go for the 2nd interview. What a waste. Luckily, I called up the company and they said they will arrange the interview for me another time.

The 1st interview I went to is at Henderson Industrial Park at Henderson Road. The Company is Harribell. I was interviewed by 2 of their Staffs and their Managing Director. The Managing Director asked a lot of questions. So that's why the interview was very long plus the waiting time.

After the interview, I went to Jalan Bukit Merah Central to eat KFC. Then I went to Orchard Popular to buy something. After Orchard, I went to Internet Cafe at City Hall to email Jobs from the newspaper.

After that, I went home.

About Today

This morning I woke up and found myself having giddyness. So I can't go for an interview at 11am. I had to call up my job agency to change the timing to afternoon. So I rest until afternoon then got up to get myself ready for an interview at 4.30pm.

It had been raining since yesterday and this afternoon. Luckily, when I got out of the house, the rain had stopped. I went to the nearby coffeeshop to eat chicken rice. After that, I took a cab down to Tampines for an interview.

The company I went for interview is a primary school. The school is call ChongZheng Primary School. I was so nervous for the interview cos this was the first time I went to a school for interview. Anyway, they will get back to me if I am selected for the job by next week.

By the way, this school have 2 security guards. I was told to get the visitor pass over the security area. They asked me what am I doing at the school and I told them I came here (the school) for an interview. They even asked whether I came alone or with someone and I told them I came alone. What the questions to ask for.

After the interview, I went to Tampines Mall to have a drink. I went to Yoshinoya since down there not so many people. I ordered Ramen to eat some more. I think I'm going to get fat if I continue to eat non-stop and craving for foods.

After that, I went to Internet Cafe to look for jobs and email for jobs from the newspapers. So far, I only managed to email one newspaper.

I will go home after this cos so tired. I think I will sleep inside the bus. Hopefully, I won't sleep until Bedok Interchange. It's so pai seh to let the bus driver to wake me up. It happened to me before.

Jobs Interview

Recently, I had been busy going for jobs interview that I had applied for in the newspaper.

Yesterday, I went for 2 jobs interview directly from the company. One at CPF Building and the other one at Race Course Road. I went to a job agency for interview too. The job agency is Staff Solution and it is situated at Robinson Tower. I almost got myself lost at Robinson Road cos I can't find the building itself. Luckily, I had called up the agency for directions.

After the jobs interview, I went to Burger King at OUB Centre at Raffles Place. Before I started eating, my hp rang non-stop and I had to entertain my hp. All the jobs that I applied for called me up to fix an interview. I was so busy that I had no time to eat cos I had to rash to Race Course Road for an interview.

After that interview, I went to meet my insurance agent at Bedok Interchange at 8pm. While on the way on the bus, I realised I was very hungry cos I didn't had my lunch. And I feel a little giddy. Luckily, I had da bao the Mushroom Swiss from Burger King and I ate that.

After meeting my insurance agent, I went straight home.

Today, I went to my ex-company to collect my salary but the HR person was having an interview for quite long. As I had an interview at the job agency, I didn't wait for her to come out. Cos I had to hurry. I feel very bad leaving without taking my salary.

The job agency I went today is P-Serv and situated at International Plaza. I was interviewed by 2 consultant at P-Serv.

After the interview, I went to eat cos i was very hungry. I ate 2 bowls of macoroni soup. The macoroni soup was delicious that I almost want a 3rd bowl. After that, I went to the Watson to shop. I bought a hanaplast cos I had injured my hand today.

Then I came to Internet Cafe at City Hall. I checked my emails and apply for jobs in the newspapers and try my luck at the jobs web site.

After that is home sweet home.
