Festival Of Praise (FOP) @ Singapore Indoor Stadium

Went to Festival Of Praise (FOP) today. 1st of all meet Janet at Parkway Parade. Got out of e house at ard 3pm n walked to e bus-stop. While waiting to cross e road to e bus-stop, smsed iris to check wat time bus 135 arrive. Den it said arriving n I saw e bus was at e bus-stop in front. So I saw no cars n faster cross e road. If not, missed le, must wait for so long for e next 1. HaHa.... :)

Upon reached Parkway Parade, smsed Janet to let her noe tat I had reached n sat down outside Citibank. Den I remembered e Isetan crazy sale tat time. Tis time I brought all my privileged cards but Isetan crazy sale over le. So no need le. HaHa.... :) After a while, Janet came down from 1 of e office as she need to go to her client's office to collect someting. Heez.... :) Den we walked ard Parkway Parade n went to eat MOS Burger. I ordered Fish Burger Meal. Can't remembered wat Janet had ordered le. HaHa.... :)

After eating, we walked to 7-eleven cos Janet need to top-up her ez-link card n we walked to e bus-stop tat got bus 16 to go to Singapore Indoor Stadium. When reached e Singapore Indoor Stadium saw many ppl Q-ing up n we went to join e Q too. Actually, we wanted to shop at Kallang Leisure Park 1st b4 gg to Singapore Indoor Stadium. But saw many ppl le so can't shop at Kallang Leisure Park le. Haiz.... :P

After a while, can go in le. When gg in, had our bags checked den can go in. Heez.... :) So we found a row of seat to sit down n waited for e rest to arrive. Janet so ke lian had to call n sms e rest while booking e whole row of seats. Oh ya.... Tink I saw e job agent there cos tat guy looked like him lor. But can't confirmed was him or not. Ops.... Dun noe should I ask him. Still tinking. Anyway, when some of Janet's cg members came, I got to noe them. HaHa.... :) Den Janet n I went to restroom cos we haven't go to restroom yet. Heez.... :) While at e restroom, the opening started le. Den we walked back to our seats n it was so dark tat we overshot n had to u-turn back. HaHa.... :) So we sang praise n worship by True Worshippers n Bob Fitts. Den e sermon was led by Mark Conner n ended wif praise n worship again. Heez.... :)

After tat, Janet called up Kelvin to ask him where was he n we went to meet him. Den together went to meet e rest of Janet's cg members outside Subway at Kallang Leisure Park. Heez.... :) After tat, went to e bus-stop wif Janet to take bus 16 together n Janet dropped off at Old Airport Road to take Bus 30 to Boon Lay while I dropped off at Marine Parade Road out CHIJ Katong Convent e bus-stop n crossed over e overhead bridge to take bus 135 home. Just nice e bus 135 arrived n no need to sms iris to check wat time bus 135 will arrive. HaHa.... :)


PS: Had enjoyed myself at FOP although tired but fun to be out e whole day. :)

Job Interview @ Tanjong Pagar

Went to job interview at Tanjong Pagar today. Was supposed to wake up at 7am tis morning but overslept n end up woke up at 8.45am. I was like oh man.... as e interview was at 9am. Haiz.... :P Luckily, the person of e job agency gave me morning call n smsed me. Told him/her tat I will be late for e interview cos just woke up. Den I quickily went to wash up n get changed. Didn't manage to shut down my com cos in e hurry. Den I faster went downstair to flag a cab to cab down there. The cab driver drove by PIE n den KCP to ECP to go Keppel Towers Tanjong Pagar. Halfway through e journey on ECP, e person from e job agency called me again to ask me where am I. Told him/her tat I'm on e way on ECP. Haiz.... :P

Upon reached, realised tat I had been to Keppel Towers for an interview last time b4. But can't remembered which company I had interviewed last time b4. Den went straight to e security counter to register b4 gg up as it is compulsory to do so. As there was ppl in front was registering, I had to wait. Den after tat, it was my turn. Told the security tat I'm gg to Singapore Business Federation for an interview. Halfway through my registration, another person from e job agency called me. I was like wah lao eh. Y kept calling n calling non-stop leh. Disturbed my registration wif e security some more. Tat person called me just to tell me to apologise to e manger who was interviewing me. So wu liao lor. Y can't they tell me all at 1 go? Dun u all tink it's a waste of time? Anyway, produced my IC to e security to get it over n done so tat I can go up for e interview faster. Den I didn't see e sign tat which lift served which level n just took any lift up cos was in e hurry if not my hp burst liao. Den I ended up at level 1 lift lobby. So I went back to e security counter to ask how to go up to Singapore Business Federation company. Den e security said at e other side. Tat was when I saw the sign for which lifts served which level. I was like oh man.... cocked eyes liao. Haiz.... :P So I went to e lift tat served to Singapore Business Federation company. :P

When reached e Singapore Business Federation company, wanted to ask e receptionist to call out for their HR for e person-in-charge for my interview. Den so qiao e person-in-charge of my interview was at e receptionist counter. Den she bought me to a meeting room to sit down while she went to get application form for me to fill in while I dig out my documents n IC from my bag. She came back wif an application form n asked me to fill in while she went to photocopy my documents n IC. So I just filled in e application form n gave it to her when she was done wif photocopying. After a while, e manager came in to interview me. She told me e job scopes n working hours. She asked me got any questions to ask n I said yes. I asked her wat does their company deals wif n she told me everyting. After tat, she tested on my typing skills on a com at e meeting room itself. The typing skills was not excels or words. It was a data entry to key in customer data when they signed up for membership at e company. The manager gave me 10 minutes to type out everyting. Den I typed lor n a bit nervous when typing. Den told myself to relax n type more properly n natural. If not, type noting out den die le. But luckily I managed to type out n 10 minutes later e manager came in n asked me to stop where I typed. The manager told me tat if I'm selected she will inform my job agency n can start work on Monday. Den e interview ended le. Btw I had apologised to e person-in-charge n e manager tat I came late tis morning. Heez.... :P

After tat, I took a lift down to level 1 n found some place to sit n call up my job agency to inform him/her e result of e interview. Told him/her tat e interview went ok n Singapore Business Federation company will let him/her noe whether I'm selected or not. If selected, can start work on Monday liao. Den I went to find some place to eat cos hungry. So I walked down to e HDB tat was opposite e Amara Hotel to find food to eat. Found a mixed vegetable rice shop n went inside to order porridge n some veggies n meat plus egg. Ordered green tea drink oso. HaHa.... :)

After eating, went to e bus-stop to take Bus 145 to Toa Payoh Interchange. Cos while I was eating, was observing which buses go where. Den spotted Bus 145 go to Toa Payoh Interchange. Anyway, when reached Toa Payoh Interchange, went to NTUC to buy sometings n proceeded to Bus 155 to go home 1st b4 meeting Janet. When reached home, settled down my tings n checked my com whether it was alive or dead cos didn't shut down b4 gg out tis morning. So far noting happened except for e AVG scanning which had finished le. Just nice. Can update blogs n surf net le. HaHa.... :)

At ard 2.45pm, started to get ready to go out again. Heez.... :)


PS: Hopefully I will get selected n can start work on Monday. :)

CX Graduation

CX graduate from NTU today. Congrat to him tat he had finally graduate. Feel so happy for him. :)

Job Agency

Today e person from e job agency called me. He/She asked me to go down for an interview at Tanjong Pagar for e job of Temp Data Entry Admin for 2 weeks tomolo at 9am. The company tat I'm gg for an interview tomolo is Singapore Business Federation n it is at Keppel Towers. The job scope will be mostly admin work. Heez.... :)


PS: Hopefully e interview will be successfully n I will get e job. :)

Today

Today e job agency called. The person of e job agency asked me whether I'm interested in Temporary Data Entry Admin or not. I said sure, no problem. I'm interested. Den he/she will helped me send my resume to e company. Heez.... :)

It is a temp job for 2 weeks n it is at Tanjong Pagar. Hopefully I can get e job. Heez.... :)

Went To Toa Payoh

Went to Toa Payoh today. My sis called me at 6.28pm telling me she had finished her work. So went to meet her at Toa Payoh. Took Bus No. 155 there. When reached, called her to ask her where was she n told her I'm at outside e Hello Kitty shop. When she came, went into e Hello Kitty shop to shop ard there n I'm looking for a Hello Kitty coin purse too. Can't find any Hello Kitty coin purse tat I like n just bought a cheap cheap Hello Kitty coin purse for temporary use while gg to look for a better 1. HaHa.... :)

After tat, my sis wans to go to restroom b4 we went for dinner. We went to e HDB Hub restroom cos nobody there. So we took a lift to Level 3 restroom n it was still cleaning. Oh man.... Den we took a lift to Level 4 restroom n yay no cleaning. HaHa.... Took some zhi pai pics too. Heez.... :)

My drink I had Home Made Barley. The Duck Rice quite nice but e vegetables so salty. Haiz.... Tink they nid to improve their vegetables. HaHa.... :)

Lighthouse Evangelism Tampines

Went to church service at Lighthouse Evangelism Tampines today. Cabbed down to go there. While on e way, Shufang called me to ask me where am I. Told her I'm on e way on e cab n she's on e way too. When reached n got out of e cab, heard someone calling me. Tot tat Shufang had reached le n called out for me. So I turned ard to see n to my surprised, it was not Shufang who had called me. Yuan lai was my aunt who called me. HaHa.... Den saw my uncle n my cousin Grace too. So we walked n chat a bit while waiting for Shufang n Hanwen to come. My aunt n my cousin Grace went up to sit while Shufang, Hanwen n me went to basement to sit cos upstair full le. HaHa.... :)

Waited for so long for e fishball soup, went to e stall to ask e auntie n she said she forgot le. Haiz.... Tink shall name e stall as Forgetful Stall. HaHa.... After eating, Shufang n Hanwen sent me to Still Road for me to take bus home. Heez.... :)

Took Bus No. 61 home. When reached home, surfed a bit of internet n headed to sleep cos still feel sleepy n tired. Heez.... :)

Elson's Event @ Parkway Parade

Went to Elson's Event at Parkway Parade today. Meet Huiqing at Parkway Parade itself. Cabbed down to go there cos went out of e house late. Upon reached, went to meet Huiqing near e Old Chang Kee n saw Isetan got crazy sale. Didn't noe Isetan got crazy sale. If not, I will go early n bring my privileged cards along. Too bad can't shop at Isetan cos din bring my privileged cards along n go early. So had to give it a miss. Haiz.... :P Anyway, meet Huiqing n bought Old Chang Kee carrot cake n fish balls to eat while waiting for Jane to arrive. Heez.... :)

While waiting for Jane to arrive, took pic wif Elson b4 he perform. Called up Jane to asked her where was she n she said e bus uncle drove so slow n still at Bukit Panjang. OMG.... The bus uncle drove so slow. So I suggested to Jane tat maybe she can asked the bus uncle to speed up a bit if not can't catch Elson performances le. HaHa.... :)

So all of them went to other place printing shop. Jane n I didn't go cos Jane nid to go out e next day while I nid to wake up early for church service e next day. Heez.... :)

B4 all of us went separate ways, took a final group pic of e day. Den we all walked to cross e road n walked separate ways. Heez.... :)

Both food courts nothing to eat le. Haiz.... :P So we walked to e hawker centre opposite Parkway to see wat to eat n finally got foods to eat. Yay. So we settled our meals there. I ordered Prawn Noodles to eat. Heez.... :)

Tis morning e person from e job agency called me. He/She said he/she got 1 job of admin at MacPherson n asked me whether i'm interested or not. I said no problem. Den he/she said he/she will send my resume to e company. Hopefully I can get shortlisted by e company n good news from e person of e job agency to come soon. :)

An Interesting Story !!!

A mouse looked through the crack in the wall

to see the farmer and his wife open a package.

"What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered.
He was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.




Retreating to the farmyard,

the mouse proclaimed this warning :

"There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!"




The chicken clucked and scratched,

raised her head and said, "Mr. Mouse,

I can tell this is a grave concern to you,

but it is of no consequence to me.

I cannot be bothered by it."




The mouse turned to the pig and told him,

"There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!"




The pig sympathized, but said,

"I am so very sorry, Mr. Mouse,

but there is nothing I can do about it

but pray.

Be assured you are in my prayers."




The mouse turned to the cow and said,

"There is a mousetrap in the house!

There is a mousetrap in the house!"




The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you,

but it's no skin off my nose."




So, the mouse returned to the house,

head down and dejected,

to face the farmer's mousetrap

. . . Alone. . .





That very night

a sound was heard throughout the house

-- the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.





The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught.

In the darkness, she did no see it.

It was a venomous snake

whose tail was caught in the trap.




The snake bit the farmer's wife.

The farmer rushed her to the hospital.

When she returned home she still had a fever.

Everyone knows you treat a fever

with fresh chicken soup.

So the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard

for the soup's main ingredient:





But his wife's sickness continued.

Friends and neighbors

came to sit with her

around the clock.

To feed them,

the farmer butchered the pig.





But, alas,

the farmer's wife did not get well...

She died.





So many people came for her funeral

that the farmer had the cow slaughtered

to provide enough meat for all of them

for the funeral luncheon.





And the mouse looked upon it all

from his crack in the wall

with great sadness.





So, the next time you hear

someone is facing a problem

and you think it doesn't concern you,

*remember *





When one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.

We must keep an eye out for one another

and make an extra effort

City Harvest Church N Janet's House

Went to City Harvest Church n Janet's House today. Woke up at 10.30am today n smsed Janet telling her I can't go church le. Den Janet replied me said no worries still can go church late a bit never mind. So I went to prepare myself n pack my lappie along. Cabbed down to City Harvest Church at Jurong West. When gg to reach, saw someone's school there. Didn't noe City Harvest Church quite near to someone's school eh. Den when reached le, gave Janet a call n we went to e service together. Heez.... :)

After e service, went to meet Janet's fren Zhigang n I got to noe him too. Den the 3 of us went to tour e church tgt. Went to e cafe to see n went to e rooftop garden to see too. Took pic of purple flower too. Heez.... :)

Den waited for Kelvin to come as he was on e way n went to e nearby hawker to eat. I ate Economical Bee Hoon Wif Cabbages N Luncheon Meats. :)

Went To 2 Places

Went to Orchard n Chinatown today. Took Bus No. 65 to Orchard to meet Huiqing. Meet Huiqing at outside Tangs Plaza. Den we walked together to go to Ngee Ann City as Huiqing got a job interview from a job agency. When reached, we went straight to e job agency. Den e person came to ask Huiqing to go inside e room for an interview n I waited for her outside e room. So I sat at e sofa there. When Huiqing had finished interview, e person asked me whether I'm looking for jobs too. Den I said yes as I'm tinking of looking for an admin job so tat I won't be bored doing my online business at home alone. So e person went to get e application form for me to fill in n took my IC to photocopy. Heez.... :)

After tat, we went to Paragon cos I need to go to M1 to check my mobile broadband internet as it had some problem in it. Told e person at e counter abt it n e person gave me a Q number to e customer service officer to check. We waited n waited for so long n finally it was my turned to e customer service officer to check my mobile broadband internet. Told e customer service officer abt e problems too n e customer service officer went to get a laptop cos I didn't bring my laptop along. Den e customer service officer used e laptop to test my mobile broadband internet to see wat was gg wrong wif my mobile broadband internet. The customer service officer tested for so long n said e laptop spoilt liao. Haiz.... I was like WAT???? using for so long den told me e laptop spoilt liao. OMG.... Den e customer service officer asked me to wait for awhile while gg to get another laptop out. Den e customer service officer said ok ar, no problem in it. Funny leh e customer service officer used can but I used got problem. Haiz.... Den I asked e customer officer whether can I uninstall it n e customer service officer said can n taught me how to do it. HaHa.... :)

After tat, we took a bus from Orchard to go Chinatown cos Huiqing wan to buy sometings from there. After Huiqing had bought her tings, we went to e hawker centre to buy food home. I bought Bak Kut Teh. Cos long time didn't eat Bak Kut Teh le. HaHa.... :)

After tat, we walked to e bus-stop to take bus home. We ended up at e wrong bus-stop n Huiqing took a bus to go Clarke Quay to change MRT home while I took Bus No. 166 to Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange to change bus home. Cos I need to pay bills (almost forgot abt it). Actually, wanted to take Bus no. 143 to Toa payoh Bus Interchange to change bus got home de. Cos too many ppl inside e bus so I no choice had to take Bus No. 166 to Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange to change bus go home. Upon halfway through e journey near United Square at Novena, my heart almost popped out. Cos e bus driver out of e sudden brake e bus. Haiz.... Didn't noe sit bus oso dangerous. Tink need to request for all bus to have seat belts just like cars. So tat more safe. HaHa.... :)

When reached Ang mo Kio Bus Interchange, went to e MRT Station to top-up my ez-link card cos became no $$$$ inside le. Den I pay my bills on e AXS machine. After tat, went back to e Bus Interchange to take Bus No. 135 home. Heez.... :)


PS: Will email my resume to e person of e job agency for him to look out of an admin job for me. I had decided for a part-time. Hopefully, he will get 1 for me. HaHa.... :)

What Is Freedom?????

Freedom is the natural state of our Universe. And, paradoxically, everything happening around us is happening in accordance with the natural Laws of the Universe. A bird flies by combining the law of Gravity, the law of Lift and the Law of Intention. A seed grows by combining the law of Germination with the unique potential of the seed.

In between our natural state of freedom and actually being free is the great champion or destroyer of destiny: choice.

Like the bird that takes flight, or the seed that grows into it's highest potential we have the power of choice to abide by the natural Laws of the Universe (and set our selves free to embrace our highest potential), or do buy into the weakening false beliefs of fear and scarcity.

We come into this world knowing that life is a joyful, abundant, loving and kind experience. But what we learn through the life experience of others is that this is not the case.

Many, many who have come because us have experienced the lie of fear, bought into fear thoughts and as a result manifested a life of fear (which is the opposite of joy).

It's commonly known across all wisdom teachings that thought precedes form. We have also been given the gift of intuition or "knowing" what our assignment here at Earth School is. But because we, as a race, have let the low vibrational thoughts of fear dominate our worldwide culture, many of us turn away from our true nature and our soul's calling.

Freedom comes when we understand and combine the Law of Thought (thought precedes form), the Law of Intuition (your higher power speaks to you through intuition) and the Law of Intention (the organizing power of your thoughts) and the Law of Faith (that faith can move mountains) to germinate our highest potential.

It is ironic that to be free, we must submit our personal will to the will of the Universe that speaks to use through intuition. But this is the way of things, everything from the mystical unseen dimension operates in paradox.

Webster's says being free means you are "not determined by anything beyond [your] own nature or being". Your nature is love, your nature is creativity, your nature is one of acceptance and compassion, your true nature is larger than your ego. Your being is timeless, eternal and a genius.

To be free, you must not buy into anything other that your own nature or being, and then allow the Laws of the Universe to generate and organize everything that is in your best interest and destroy everything that is not.

True freedom comes from within and is a choice to buy into who you really are. Nobody can give you this freedom but you and nobody can take away this freedom but you. The choice is yours. Choose, but choose wisely, it's all up to you.

All Things Are Possible With God...

And nothing is impossible.

Tinking of gg out to work again. Had a feeling of doing so. Cos quite bored at home doing my online business alone. Should I get a full-time or a part-time? Still tinking. Will definitely get an admin job post for sure.

Why Walk When You Can Fly?

Once there was a king who received a gift of two magnificent falcons from Arabia. They were peregrine falcons, the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. He gave the precious birds to his head falconer to be trained.

Months passed, and one day the head falconer informed the king that though one of the falcons was flying majestically, soaring high in the sky, the other bird had not moved from its branch since the day it had arrived.

The king summoned healers and sorcerers from all the land to tend to the falcon, but no one could make the bird fly. He presented the task to the members of his court, but the next day, the king saw through the palace window that the bird had still not moved from its perch. Having tried everything else, the king thought to himself, “Maybe I need someone more familiar with the countryside to understand the nature of this problem.” So he cried out to his court, “Go and get a farmer!”

In the morning, the king was thrilled to see the falcon soaring high above the palace gardens. He said to his court, “Bring me the doer of this miracle.” The court quickly located the farmer, who came and stood before the king. The king asked him, “How did you make thefalcon fly?” With his head bowed, the farmer said to the king, “It was easy, your highness. I simply cut the branch.”

We were all made to fly — to realize our incredible potentialas human beings. But instead of doing that, we sit on our branches, clinging to the things that are familiar to us. The possibilities are endless, but for most of us, they remain undiscovered. We conform to the familiar, the comfortable, the mundane. So for the most part, our lives are mediocre instead of exciting, thrilling, fulfilling.

Went to Elson's Event @ Bukit Panjang Plaza today. Walked to e bus-stop to wait for Bus No. 135 n smsed to Iris SBS Transit to check wat time e bus arrive. Tis was wat Iris SBS Transit smsed me: B/S 70201 Svc 135 NextBus 7 min (slow traffic, expect delay) SubBus 20 min. For T&C, pls check SBST website. HaHa.... :) After awhile Iris SBS Transit smsed me again, Tis was wat Iris SBS Transit smsed me: Free update B/S 70201 Svc 135 NextBus 6 min (Bus delayed along the way. Sorry to keep u waiting.) SubBus 16 min. So good to received free sms from Iris SBS Transit. HaHa.... :)

When the bus arrived, took it to Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange to meet Huiqing. Den we took MRT to Choa Chu Kang n change LRT to Bukit Panjang Plaza. When reached Bukit Panjang LRT Station, something unglam happened to me which I dun wan to talk abt it le. Heez.... :)

Den we walked ard Bukit Panjang Plaza n find not much tings there. So we went to food court for a drink. Huiqing ate dessert while I drank ice lemon tea. After tat, we went to e garden plaza to wait for Jane to come. While waiting for Jane to come, YouthBox Artistes had their rehearsal on stage. Den rested for awhile n finally started to perform. Their singing n dancing not bad. Mandy saw me sitting there n came over to look for me n ask me to join them near e stage. Told her I'm waiting for another fren to come n intro Huiqing to her. After awhile Huiqing n I went in front to sit. Den Dewei came looking for me asking me to join them near e stage n told him e same ting as I told Mandy. Intro Huiqing to him too. HaHa.... :)

At ard 7pm, Elson came le. Den followed by Jane to arrive. And finally, it was Elson's turn to perform le. So Huiqing n I went forward to e stage. HaHa.... :)

After e event finished, Jane, Huiqing n I went to e food court to have our dinner. I ate Yong Tau Foo.

After we had finished our dinner, we headed home. Huiqing n I walked to e Bus Interchange. I took a bus to Boon Lay Bus Interchange while Huiqing took LRT. Took Bus No. 180 to Boon Lay Bus Interchange. The Bus came at 9.40pm at Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange n arrived at 10.15pm at Boon Lay Bus Interchange. Took pics on e bus too. Heez.... :)

Took Bus No. 154 home from Boon Lay Bus Interchange. The bus routine was like on e expressway most of e time. When the bus reached at Clementi, many tots on my mind. Saw e changes too. The old bus interchange had moved to e other side. Tink its oni temporary. Cos e old bus interchange n some HDB flats were gone. Tink down there gg to build shopping centre like AMK Hub. Missed Clementi so much. Haiz.... :P


PS: Elson's next events will be at Parkway Parade. So long didn't go to Clementi le. :P

After eating, went to PS Starhub Customer Service to terminate 1 of my hp line. Cos last year I bought hp n upgraded my hp line so tat line was given free. Seldom use it at all n now it charge le. So terminate it. It will take 3 days to terminate e hp line n 2 to 3 weeks later Starhub will send final bill for it. HaHa.... :)

After settled le, shopped ard PS n rested outside Starhub Shop. Took zhi pai pics of myself too. :)

After tat, took Bus No. 36 to Parkway to meet my sis after her work. Reached there quite early n raining some more make my sandals so wet. Haiz.... So I shopped ard Parkway n went to Mark N Spencer to shop ard. Bought dark chocolate digestive biscuits. Btw it had been so long tat I didn't buy Mark N Spencer foods le. Heez.... :)

After tat, head home. Den both my feet so pain cos of e sandal got wet on e rain. Den it brushed on both my feet n caused bruise+pain. I had to walked like an old woman cos dun wan to brush on e sandal liao. When reached home, I faster put plaster on both my feet. Haiz.... :P
