Create In Me A Clean Heart, O God

Have mercy on me, O God,according to your steadfast love;according to your abundant mercyblot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!

For I know my transgressions, and my sin is ever before me.

Against you, you only, have I sinnedand done what is evil(I) in your sight,so that you may be justified in your wordsand blameless in your judgment.

Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, you delight in truth in the inward being, and you teach me wisdom in the secret heart.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Let me hear joy and gladness;let the bones that you have broken rejoice.

Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.

Create in me a clean heart, O God,and renew a right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.

Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God,O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of your righteousness.

O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare your praise.

For you will not delight in sacrifice, or I would give it;you will not be pleased with a burnt offering.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit;a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Psalm 51: 1-17

To Follow Jesus, We Must Live 'The Word Of God'...

The straight path can be a tough road to follow at times and we are tested through out our journey. Never the less, we must endure until the end.

"Follow me" Jesus said, we must follow God in all that we do...and never stop.

We must constantly pray for guidance, constantly seek his way, ask him to show us the way...

Life is a long road with many twists and turns, but God is always with us, with Jesus we can not lose the race of life. God is the strength when we are week, God helps us when we are down; he lifts us up when we stumble, he is the Light within us when there is darkness.

"But the one who endures to the end will be saved." - (Mat 24:13)

It is our personal responsibility whether we follow...this conscious decision is always ours to make.

We must earnestly keep following, keep obeying his commandments this is how we follow, and we live ‘The Word of God’.

Jesus IS the Word of God made manifest. “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us” (John 1:14) And this is how we walk with him, we live and do his word, him commandments, he is 'The Way' by example.

Do not be mistaken, the road never ends; the journey to the narrow gate is the life we 'all' lead. The narrow gate that leads to life is the goal. Keep following, keep obeying, and keep seeking Jesus through his word with all your heart and soul.

"Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him" - Jesus (John 14:21)

Obey the commandments and keep following…Jesus is the way, and the truth, and the life. When we follow him, he leads us into the spiritual Life right here and Now.

Life Is Like A Doughnut...

Your life is like a doughnut. It's like that circle of glazed dough with a hole in the middle.

That hole in the middle represents everything you didn't get, everything that hurt you and broke you, everything you loved and lost, your given-up hopes and dreams, the dark nights that had driven you to despair and tears.

Everyone has that hole in their lives.

Most people spend most of their lives looking at that hole...looking through it, looking around it, looking to fill it up, looking to hide it...and missing the dough.

The dough? The dough is all the good things you did get, the love of friends and family that you do have, the joys you did experienced, and the sense of pride that came from the achievements you did manage to accomplish.

If you notice, the dough is bigger than the hole. The dough surrounds the hole. In fact, the dough creates the hole.

You see, it all goes together.

No dough, no hole. No hole, no doughnut. No doughnut, no life.

Not one without the other. It all goes together. And that's the way life is - no good without bad, no bad without good. It's sometimes good and then it's sometimes bad. But at the end of it, it was just a doughnut, and hopefully, it was good enough to eat.

Trust In The Lord...

...and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, the justice of your cause like the noonday sun. - Psalm 37: 3-6

Do Not Be Anxious...

"Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

"Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." - Jesus (Mat 6: 25-34)

Some of us easily forget this promise made to us by the Lord Jesus. All these things in life that worry most of us like food, clothing, and other essentials all of us need. They are all ‘added’ to us, given freely from God ‘when’ we FIRST seek the Kingdom of God and ‘his righteousness’.

Do we live a righteous life…a life of holiness; purity; uprightness? Or at least do we try our very best?

There is no need to elaborate or interpret his words…this is in black and white. “Do not be anxious about your life” Jesus so kindly says.

“Seek FIRST the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

“Everything is possible for him who believes” - Jesus (Mark 9:23)

"I Tell You The Truth...

...unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me" - Jesus (Mat 18: 3-5)

Be Like Jesus

If you really have the compassion of the Holy Spirit, the Love of God & the Love of Christ in your heart, you're going to be like Jesus! And if you want to know what Jesus is like, just read the gospels!--They're beautiful! The Bible says Jesus went about everywhere doing good, striving to lead God's children back to the worship of the true Father, His little lambs back into the one & only true fold of the Great Shepherd & the way of simple truth & love & peace--the true Kingdom of God! (Acts 10:38) Study the Gospels & see how Jesus did things! Study the Master Teacher Who only taught & lived love & sharing, Who came for love & lived in love & died for love that we might live & love forever!

The Words of Jesus are the most beautiful, inspired & encouraging part of the Bible. He was almost always the peace-maker. When they didn't like His message, He didn't force it on them. It was all voluntary, all "whosoever will". Jesus was patient, loving, kind, sympathetic & forgiving, always loving, always leading, not pushing or driving, & always feeding & encouraging & strengthening His little lambs.

Lord, You are the greatest of all examples of humility & mercy. Help us to be like you, Lord Jesus!

If My Words Abide In You?

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. ABIDE IN MY LOVE." - Jesus (John 15: 7-9)

Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled, Neither Let Them Be Afraid

These things I have spoken to you while I am still with you. But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, HE WILL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. - Jesus (John 14: 25-27)

"I AM The Light" YOU ARE The Light" Jesus Said...

"In that day you will know that I am in my Father, AND YOU IN ME, AND I IN YOU. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and MANIFEST MYSELF TO HIM" - Jesus (John 14: 20-21)

In that day is today! It was yesterday and it will be tomorrow also! When we sincerely ask Jesus into our lives, he enters our Hearts and this is where we begin to know him...within. Jesus manifest's himself to us, Spiritually; the Holy Spirit enters into us and the real purification begins.

“God is Spirit” Jesus told us and that Spirit dwells within us, you and I. God dwells within our very beings. Through Jesus’ teachings our hearts are prepared for him...

Follow these simple teachings in life and everything is revealed to us 'personally.' It is those teachings (Within the Gospels - Matt, mark, Luke and John) implemented through out life that will help prepare us to realize God within and know the Divine will.

Many are being led astray by false teachers, false preachers, following false doctrines, the commandments of men. “I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life” Jesus said, he said “Follow ME” he did not say follow any one else. I AM the way; YOU are the way, when we learn to follow and obey. “I AM IN YOU” It is Jesus, God within us!

Jesus was and is the Christ, the holy example, he overcame, found the way, and hence we follow the same way, our own personal journey along the straight path through the narrow gate that leads to Life.

We do not need man to show us, unless one is guiding you into the Kingdom of Heaven right here and now, then it is time to drop the dead wood that has plagued your progress into Heaven.

We must have patience, through FAITH we are saved by GRACE. Show true devotion and The Holy Spirit guides us and teaches us into ALL truth! Seek God, and only God and his Spirit will enter and will transform you in ways beyond all imagination!

Spiritually, are eyes are opened! We are awakened! Jesus enlightens our hearts with his pure Love and the Light of God and then…the journey truly begins.

THE RIGHT CIRCLE

An adage in one of the languages in Nigeria says:“when the sun is hot and the flies are thick, use the horse’s sense”.

That maxim describes the way in which horses pair, side by side, headto tail when the flies become too much for the tail of either horse tohandle. By pairing, they help each other by warding off flies from theface of one another.

The people that surround you determine the things you can survive. We all need the right associations.

We are called to compliment and lift each other up. Not to bring eachother down via competition against one another.

The quality of a man’s destiny can be predicted by the quality of the associations he keeps.

The person we look down on today might just be the solution toour most pressing need.

It behooves us to find, keep and service our relationships.

We need to input a conscious effort to maintaining a close contact with those people we see are significant to our life in as many facets as there are.

You need to examine your circle of friends if indeed they are God’s right circle for you.

Bless you all!

The Revelation Of Jesus Is Within Our Hearts And Through Out Our Lives

"I will not leave you as orphans; I WILL COME TO YOU. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live." - Jesus (John 14: 18-19)

We Live in him, he Lives in us.

Concentrate on doing your best for God, work you won't be ashamed of, laying out the truth plain and simple. 2 Timothy 2:15
