Lighthouse Evangelism Tampines

Went to church service at Lighthouse Evangelism Tampines today. Cabbed down to go there. While on e way, Shufang called me to ask me where am I. Told her I'm on e way on e cab n she's on e way too. When reached n got out of e cab, heard someone calling me. Tot tat Shufang had reached le n called out for me. So I turned ard to see n to my surprised, it was not Shufang who had called me. Yuan lai was my aunt who called me. HaHa.... Den saw my uncle n my cousin Grace too. So we walked n chat a bit while waiting for Shufang n Hanwen to come. My aunt n my cousin Grace went up to sit while Shufang, Hanwen n me went to basement to sit cos upstair full le. HaHa.... :)

How Is Your Faith Life?

How important is the partaking of God's Word? Almost all Christians will certainly agree that it is imperative to study the Bible diligently if one desires to be a strong and fulfilled disciple of Christ.

The internalization of the Word germinates faith for every area of our lives, and that pleases the heart of God. Faith always brings results. But most of all, it strengthens and stabilizes us internally to face all external challenges.

This message will motivate you to study and lay hold on God's Word. Faith will arise and you will experience great victories!

1) Everyone has Bible faith

2 Thessalonians 3:1-2

1 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.

2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.

2) Some are born with more faith than others

Romans 10:17

17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.

Romans 10:8

8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart", that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming.

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-

9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

Hebrews 11:6

6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Matthews 6:33

33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Romans 12:3

3 For by the grace given me I say to everyone of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.

Luke 5:17-26

17 One day as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem, were sitting there. And the power of the Lord was present for him to heal the sick.

18 Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.

19 When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on his mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus.

20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven."

21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, "Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"

22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, "Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?

23 Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?

24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins...." He said to the paralyzed man, "I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home."

25 Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God.

26 Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, "We have seen remarkable things today."

Hebrews 11:1

1 In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways.

John 14:6

6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Faith is invisible. We can't see faith.

Faith is substance.

After tat, went to e nearby coffeeshop wif Shufang n Hanwen to eat n drink. I ordered fishball soup from e fishball noodle stall. Waited for so long for e fishball soup, went to e stall to ask e auntie n she said she forgot le. Haiz.... Tink shall name e stall as Forgetful Stall. HaHa.... After eating, Shufang n Hanwen sent me to Still Road for me to take bus home. Heez.... :)

Took Bus No. 61 home. When reached home, surfed a bit of internet n headed to sleep cos still feel sleepy n tired. Heez.... :)
