admitting we might have been
wrong or might not have understood?

your sweet soul to the
pleas for understanding
from someone who once
shared your thoughts and emotions

Is it worth giving up

If friendship is worth so little,
then was it truly friendship?

RDF~Wisdom Of The Elders

A week ago, I saw an episode on RFD TV in which 3 Native American Elders gave their thoughts on today's life. They were each from different tribes and different reservations and the messages were basically the same.

It is a simple message, but warrants repetition. There is a body, mind, soul connection and of the three, people today seem to have forgotten their Spiritual side.


A Lakota elder gave 7 principles to live by and they are:

1. Knowledge~ This is what you gain from living at home or by going to school. Knowledge is not wisdom, it is learning.

2. Respect~ Respect all living things, this includes yourself, your family & friends, and also Mother Earth.

3. Courage & Bravery~ Doing what is right and moving forward in the face of adversity.

4. Humility~ Being humble in life as you receive God's graces.

5. Wisdom~ You gain this through life experiences. It is the voice within that knows truths inherently.

6. Honesty & Sincerity~ With how you live your life.

7. Love~ Love reigns supreme and follows these other principles. Meaning that it is hard to have love within if you are not following a spiritual code of conduct.


A final note in which an elder ended this segment with how he sees his life. He said that he simply is a buffer, his job each day is to polish and shine...

Promote peace of course, but make sure you do so within. What you have inside is what you give outside, so if your heart is not filled with peace, your life will not be either.

Jobs Interview - Day 1

Went to Kaki Bukit for a job interview today. The company is Healthy Homes Marketing Pte Ltd. I applied for Administrative Clerk position. After e job interview, walked to bus stop to take bus to Eunos Interchange to take MRT to City Hall cos there will be another job interview for me in e afternoon at Wheelock Place. As it was early, went to Raffles City to haf my lunch 1st. Had Burger King Mushroom Swiss Single Meal for lunch.

After lunch, went to internet cafe to check my mails b4 gg to Orchard. Den after tat, took MRT to Orchard. When reached, walked to Wheelock Place for another job interview. After tat, went back to City Hall internet cafe to do my stuffs until my sis finished her work den went to meet her at Toa Payoh for dinner. Went to e Duck Rice Shop to eat Aluminium Foil Chicken Wif Rice for dinner. Had Watercress Soup for dinner too.

Received Calls From Jobs - Day 2

Had received calls from jobs today. It was from Integrated Lens Technology Pte Ltd company. They asked me to go for an interview on Friday 25 September 2009 at 11am. Their office is at Ubi Crescent which is oso on Saturday 26 September 2009 e interview is e same location. So qiao get e same location but different company. HaHa.... :)


PS: Was wondering wan to change my Saturday interview to Friday or not. Scare e boss not free on Friday. Still tinking n see haf anymore company call me up for interview these few days or not. :P

Went To Bedok

Went to Bedok today. Took Bus 66 from my house downstair. When reached, I alighted b4 e Bus Interchange cos need to post my resume to a job tat I'm interested in. Bought a stamp b4 I posted it. The stamp cost $0.50. A bit ex but for jobs no choice. HaHa.... :)

Had received calls from jobs too. The company I'm not sure cos e person used his hp to call me. The person is Melvin. He called me to ask me down for an interview too. The interview will be at 3pm on Thursday n it will be held at Wheelock Place. The office will be at Tiong Bahru. He asked me to send my foto too. Heez.... :)

Happy 1st Bdae Cousin Hiroshi

Went to my cousin Hiroshi 1st bdae party at Bang Hiang Restaurant today. Took Bus 155 from my house downstair to Toa Payoh Interchange to meet my sis. Heez.... :)

When reached Toa Payoh Interchange, called my sis to ask where was she. Den went to e Hello Kitty Shop to shop ard n went to Burger King to haf a drink n a dessert. Ordered Hershey's Sundae Pie n Ice Milo. Heez.... :)

While eating n drinking, my sis called n said she had reached n asked me where am I. Told her I'm at Burger King. Den she came n meet me there. After tat, went to duplicate house keys cos my sis had lost her house keys. The make keys uncle asked us to go back collect keys after 15 minutes later. So we walked ard Toa Payoh Interchange n went back to collect keys. The make keys uncle haven't finished yet n we stand 1 side to wait. Heez.... :)

After tat, we took MRT to my grandma's house. When reached my grandma's house, my Er Yi asked my sis to help her strengthen her hair wif a strengthener. Den my Xiao Yi, my sis n I went to collect cake at Emicake Shop which is opposite my grandma's house. Last time, e cake shop was near my grandma's house which was no need to cross e road just walked through shelter can le. After collecting e cake, crossed e road n walked back to my grandma's house. Heez.... :)

Waited for my Ah Gus n my cousin to drive cabs n car to fetch us to e Bang Hiang Restaurant at Chinatown. My 3rd aunt, my cousin Marcus, my sis n I took my 3rd Ah Gu's cab to go there. The rest of e family will take my Da Gu's cab n my cousin's car. When reached, saw my 2nd Ah Gu n his whole family waiting to cross e road. Den my 3rd aunt, my cousin Marcus, my sis n I alighted from my 3rd Ah Gu's cab as he went to park his cab. So we all went in to e Bang Hiang Restaurant to book seats 1st while waiting for e rest of e family to arrive. My 2nd Ah Gu oso got invite his JB relatives to come n celebrate his son Hiroshi 1st Bdae. Heez.... :)

We all waited n waited in e restaurant for e rest to come was so long n my sis said she hungry liao. I was so bored until I took a pic of e restaurant tissue paper wif it's name printed on it. Haiz.... :P

Den after e few minutes e 2nd dish was served. We all haven't finish e 1st dish den 2nd dish was served liao. Den followed by other dishes tat we all ordered. HeHe.... :P

Life Without Dis~ease

Life Without Dis-ease

Dis-ease and sickness are habitual. They are formed in the mind first and transmitted to the body second. You cannot have sickness in the body without the thought of it first. Disease is the mind in unrest. When the mind is out of alignment with the body then there is unrest in the body. When the mind, body and spirit are in balance then there is no disease or sickness. The body is at ease. Disruptions occur by thought first.
In order to overcome all odds within the body the mind must be in harmony with the light. Escape your discomforts, pains and unwellness by first escaping the unrest and darkness of the mind. Free your thoughts of heaviness, burdens and misuse, then you will strengthen the body. When the mind and body are functioning in unison then all are harmonized with the Soul and there is no dis-ease.

Protect yourself by releasing un-issues that circulate in your thought process. When you see yourself surrounded by danger and ill will, does that mean you are immediately affected by such? You will be when you open your mind to such darkness. Clear your thoughts and see your way clear of such unrest.
You are untouchable to such corruption unless you allow it. Be compassionate to you neighbor but do not become your neighbor who lays sick and dying.
Strengthen your thoughts and see your way clear of such hopelessness that clouds your friends mind. Know that this is his choice not yours. You are free to choose your path. You may walk through the valley of the shadow of death but you do not have to lay there and expire. You may continue on your path into the light. One who walks in the light does not waste in darkness. Always see your way clear. The choice is yours. Which path do you choose? Health and joy or do you choose a life willed with pain and disease.
Which is stronger the Mind, Body or the Soul?
The Soul is Strongest. The Soul will always carry on. If you wish to carry on in this experience, in this body then feed the mind well and it will support the body and all are strengthened by the Soul.

Den walked to Raffles City Taxi Stand to wait for cab. Luckily over there came quite a few cabs. So cabbed down to Chris & Sandy's house. When abt to reached, e cab driver can't find e blk so ended up driving ard e area n e cab driver complained tat should haf put some arrow signs to indicate which side is which blk de. Haiz.... Asked him to made a complain to e MP there. Complain to me oso useless cos I can't help it. HaHa.... Finally, found e blk le n I got a shocked cos e cab fare was $23.60. I was like omg. 1st time in my lifetime took cab so ex. Haiz.... :P

After alighting from e cab, called Kelvin to find out where was he. Den saw Zhiqiang n Janet there le. So we all went up to Chris & Sandy's house. When at e doorstep, saw Chris & Sandy's doggie. Chris n Sandy's house reminded me of my old Bedok house. Cos e pattern of e house is exactly e same except e doorway not e same. Den sat n watched tv for awhile n CG started le. We all sang praise n worship n shared testimony 1st. I didn't shared anything cos nothing to share. Heez.... :)

Spirit at Work Friends~

So lovely to be back in the saddle so to speak and sending a message, I do apologize that it has been so long.

We are in the midst of many changes and shifts and I feel it pertinent to say a word about the perceieved chaos that many are going through in their personal relationships at this time.

Our life is set up such that we have spiritual contracts with those that are or have been in our life in some way. Parents, siblings, friends, spouses, children, etc. If you could look at everyone that has been in your life in some capacity and ask yourself what purpose have they served? What have you learned? and how have you personally grown from being with these people in some way?

Now I say this knowing that may of the experiences have been painful and continue to be painful, but to view your life and the experiences from a different perspective may help you heal. The point in this is to understand that there are no accidents and no coincidences. Every single person is serving your higher growth in some capacity. So if this is true, have you been able to move forward with forgiveness, with love, with compassion, with self realization and growth? You must release the fears, the doubts, the pains of what you have experienced to change the perceptions and get to a place of peace.. This is one way to start growing spiritually.

Free yourself from the chains that bind you in fear and pain, it is now time to rip down the veils of illusions and walk in the light of love..

The Kingdom Of God

Martha And Mary

Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, "Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me." But the Lord answered her, "Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her." Luke 10: 38-42

How many of us find that things in life can sometimes distract us from what is truly important? Jesus said “But one thing is necessary”. One thing is necessary above all others!…and that is spending ‘quality’ time in the presence of God.

Not to say that other responsibilities are not necessary but we have to prioritize. This is ‘our’ responsibility.

When we give God time, he empowers us with his strength, spiritually, physically and mentally. We should always find the time to be in the Lord’s presence and to wait on him and ‘learn’ from him. Anxious worries, troubles, issues of any form are from this world and will all be dealt with when we put Jesus first in our lives. We only have to try this for our selves and see that Jesus takes care of everything…when we seek him and the Kingdom of God with all our hearts.

How can we ever learn from some one if we never have the time to be with them?

We should all make time to spend with Jesus in silence and prayer. Do not be distracted like Martha. The Holy Spirit enlightens us into all truth when we focus our hearts and minds on him. Immerse your self in his infinite Love. Jesus is always with us, always there, it is us who turn away at times because we’re too busy.

See how God helps our lives in this world when we sincerely seek that special relationship, that intimate connection with him…
